IT’S BEEN CRAZY ANGIE. I didn’t see AA so I can’t judge Dominic there. I’m just like NO BUT BENEDICT. :( But there’s been actual HATE on both sides for both actors and I’m like okayyy cannot deal with bashing.

ASH! i understand the disappointment but it’s just really mean to hate on someone’s happy moment and insult them because another actor didn’t win. Benedict was magnificent of course, but Dominic’s role was very very dark and he did perfectly (you should watch it!), and also i feel that he deserves the recognition after all these years of hard work. i think Benedict will get a lot of chances, he has even more awesomeness in his future so i’m sure he’ll win soon. :)

i don’t even know! it doesn’t make sense to publish something now in the UK, unless they’re part of a bigger spread on TV and actors? I’M NOT COMPLAINING. about dracula - i don’t even have a copy of it! I HAD MEGAUPLOAD LINKS THAT ARE NO LONGER THERE. but we need to watch it, as soon as possible.

GOD YESSSS. the proposal makes everything about the dance kiss make even more sense bc back then it was hesitant but now everything is POSSIBLE. GODDDD. ACCIO SERIES 3

it was a long-standing theory of mine, that the other kisses were supposed to be tentative and were intentionally shot in an “incomplete” way, and that when they actually got together it would be perfect, because it would be for real. the first kiss was directed by Brian Percival, who did the CS, and I think the focus is intentionally on Mary, because she’s coming to realize her feelings for Matthew, but still she’s unsure and not ready to accept him. the second kiss had to be so soft and light because the guilt and the regret prevents them from losing themselves in it - it’s only the bittersweet realization that they want each other after all these years, but it’s too late. By the end of the special they’ve both come so far as individuals, they know exactly how they feel about each other and there’s nothing stopping them from expressing it physically, with an enthusiastic kiss and a tight hug and the immense happiness that comes through the twirling. OH GOD I CAN’T STOP WORD-VOMITING ABOUT THEM
